Hi all

I'm new to this forum and at the moment an unfit 49 year old male.
Used to do minimalist strength training with heavier kettlebells for strength which caused me to have an abdominal hernia at the start of the new year which they have decided not to operate on.
I have to lose weight and train with lighter weights so wondered if any recommendations on the size of the kettlebell to start with and what routine best to start on. Tried kettlercise once with Blast Fitness and enjoyed and it kicked my butt hard as cardio wasn't my main strength at the time but has to be also now !
Any hints or recommendations would be welcomed
Many thanks
Craig

As I wanted to start soon I've ordered a 6KG and will work my way up slowly again to whatever doesn't strain me.
Just recommendations on the best routine to start please to burn fat and keep muscle ?
Many Thanks
Craig

Hi Craig good idea to start off with a smaller bell. It seems no one really reads or responds these forums? Give kettlercise a call directly or email probably better would be my advise I have found them to be really helpful when I have emailed with questions.

Good luck

Thank you Vicky

Hadn't thought about emailing directly but seems to be the best way to go now

Thanks again
